142: A Visionary Approach to Autism Education

Shrub Oak International School is a private, coeducational, therapeutic day and boarding school for students ages 8-30 on the autism spectrum who face complex challenges and have high personal attention needs.

Located on 127 acres of rolling, wooded hills approximately 30 minutes north of New York City, Shrub Oak offers unparalleled educational opportunities for students in a family-centric, supportive environment. Classrooms are equipped with state-of-the art technology, and our curriculum is based on the most advanced and successful evidence-based clinical and academic approaches in ASD education.

The mission of Shrub Oak International School is to improve the lives of children, adolescents, and young adults on the autism spectrum. We help our students form positive relationships through individualized strength-based and passion-based learning, and equip them with the tools they need to develop friendships, navigate their communities, and maximize their potential. Our singular focus is each student’s success and happiness.

140: The Yoghurt & Juice Network

Health and nutrition education for teachers and parents. Support your children to learn about their wellbeing in school or online.

The Yoghurt & Juice Network was an idea born during a long car journey, where founders and Nutritionists, Yasmin and Jenna, were fed up of listening to the responsibility of the current state of children’s health being passed between parents, schools, industry, government and so on.

As a result, they decided to take on some of the responsibility themselves, by creating The Yoghurt & Juice Network and providing credible nutrition education, first hand, to children, parents and teachers in schools and colleges. The network strives to achieve it’s aims through delivering classroom workshops, assemblies, whole school initiatives and teacher and parent talks through innovative and creative means.

At The Yoghurt and Juice Network we strongly believe that healthy eating should always be enjoyable, delicious and never a chore. We believe in educating children to allow them to enjoy making healthier choices whilst understanding the benefits to their long term health.

We strongly feel that children should be provided with the best chances possible and understanding the relationship between what they eat and their health outcomes is the perfect place to start.
